RUSH Launches Uber Chic New Salon in Brighton
The latest and highly-anticipated reopening of RUSH salon in Brighton has finally happened.
You heard us right. RUSH Salon closed its North Street doors last year and has now unveiled a fresh new salon on Brighton’s prestigious Duke Street.
Located on the corner so close to The Ivy you can taste it sits the bright new outfit. The front bears the instantly recognisable brand name and looks bright and inviting.
The full list of services remain unchanged but the look and feel of the brand new space is a light, cheerful and relaxing place to be.

What to expect when you book an appointment
The new salon is very busy and so booking online is an ideal way to secure a spot in front of an experienced stylist. Stopping by is an option but if you have an important event to attend, we’d advise prior booking.
You’ll chat to Alex, front of house at RUSH Brighton, who is a little cup of joy. If we could bottle up her positive energy and take it away with us, what an appointment that would be.
As per the standard in salons, you’ll need to have a look at the stylists available and select the service you need. If you’re unsure, take in as much inspiration or pictures as you can find. Your stylist at RUSH will do the rest.
Inside the new salon
Inside, the salon plays contemporary music, a stylist offers you a cold drink of choice before you even sit down (the dream!) and an endless array of magazines await for you to flip through should a little celebrity inspiration be in order.
Large mirrors enable the space to feel a lot bigger than it is and each room upstairs plays a role in transforming your hair and restoring it to its natural health.
Hues are a feminine blush pink and will be a pull for the younger clientele, yet relaxing and familiar for die-hard RUSH devotees.
The thoughtful interior and calming atmosphere speak of a salon and team whose ethos is to make each client leave feeling their absolute best.
Below deck on the thriving new ship are more uber-chic stations aimed at clients who prefer a more private affair when having their hair done.
The RUSH stylists
Our hero stylist, Nik (also the salon manager) has 11 years of experience in the art of hair. Kickstarting his career in Greece, Nik made the leap from the sunny shores of his Greek island to our sunny shores of Brighton two years ago and now can’t imagine living anywhere else in the world.
Ask Nik anything hair-related and he’ll know the answer. Guaranteed.
He can advise his clients on anything from hair concerns and stylist’s tips and tricks to maintenance advice and product recommendations. With Nik, you don’t just get a cut and colour but you’ll have the added benefit of getting schooled in the art of hair itself.
He’s a dream to have as a stylist and cares about how you feel throughout the whole process.
He knows what will look great on you, what won’t and how to get the look you want. We highly recommend Nik as an experienced stylist.
