Queen's Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane

The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is not only a skip and a hop from Buckingham Palace, it has a rich heritage as one of London’s oldest and most iconic hotels and boasts the perfect location to sit back and savour the special day.

The hotel has partnered with Louis Pommery England to present the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea, available from May 25th.

The classic menu, served with the all-new Saicho Sparkling Darjeeling Tea, includes coronation chicken, smoked ham, vintage cheddar and mustard, egg and cress and cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, alongside sausage and leek and spiced chickpea pastries.

For sweets, finely crafted by a talented pastry team, the menu includes a Battenberg, a Royal Apricot Mandarin Chocolate Cake, a Queen's Hat and Victoria Sponge.

From its heyday as the hangout of choice for socialites, celebrities, and the aristocracy upon opening in 1927, the hotel has a long history of bringing people together in the heart of Mayfair and provides the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated afternoon tea.

Until the 23rd of November.

A regal affair at The Goring Veranda

Already an iconic hotel in the City, The Goring in Belgravia is currently the only hotel to hold a royal warrant after late George Goring received an OBE from Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace in 2013.

The prestigious venue is now set to host a jubilant celebration with a regal range of coronation chicken sandwiches to roast sirloin beef, sweet treats including a strawberry and raspberry crown diplomat tart, and a delightful surprise in the form of Her Majesty’s royal fruit cake – as regal and classically English as they come.

Is there a more fabulously fitting location for a Jubilee celebration? We think not.

Until the 1st of September.

The Berkeley’s Prêt-à-Portea, Platinum Jubilee Edition

Berkeley’s Prêt-à-Portea is due to mark the Platinum Jubilee with a special pastry spectacular. Three unique creations accompany the hotel’s fabulous fashion-themed tea menu, all devoted to some of the Queen’s most loved wardrobe staples.

The hotel’s expert pasty chefs will reproduce one of the monarch’s summery hats as a lime cheesecake, as well as transform a blue handbag owned by Her Majesty into a blueberry Victoria sponge cake.

Most impressive, however, is the vanilla biscuit embellished to look like a coronation crown. As well as these sweet treats, a mocktail and cocktail offering will pay homage to the record-breaking sovereign.
